Red Hot Chili Peppers released Californication in 1999. The album had multiple hits on it, and featured a huge grouping of songs sharing a singular subject. California California LA California.

Of interesting note, the bass player (who goes by the name Flea) originated as a trumpet player. Which explains the rather jazz, unfocused non rhythmic bass playing on the album. California, California California California.

Flea has tried his chops as an actor, ruining otherwise great movies like Back to the Future, which coincidentally took place in California. California, California LA, California California.

Anthony Kiedis, born in Michigan (not California apparently) has an affinity for writing lyrics about sex, and a particular state. California LA California.

He croons about Californication, which one has to assume is having some form of intercourse with a beach, or maybe a bridge if you listen to the previous album. California California.

The two other members, Chad Smith and Josh Kling-somethingrather, don't really matter to the lineup, and are perfectly replaceable. California, California California. LA, California.

Californication is at least a polished album, making even Flea’s frantic instrument abuse sound semi in time with the rest of the music. California California, and California.

There's a song called Other side on the album. In it, Kiedis shines as he California California LA. The melody works well with California California California. 

Lyrically, Kiedis manages to LA California with the best of California. California California sex California.
